Why is it easier to figure out the melody of a song on guitar than piano?

i was just wondering like lets say a song is playing and yur like oo i like this part and wanna play it on piano or guitar (or any instrument i guess) i find it easier to figure it out on a guitar rather than piano...

why is that??? i mean i can barely even play the guitar just a couple chords and the strings and some notes. i even figured out a bit of a song on the violin which i know nothing about how to play. but ive been playing piano for a while now im way better on it than guitar yet whenever i wanna figure out like the melody of a song on piano its harder for me than guitar?

why is this? is it the way the guitar is layed out? does it have anything to do with String instruments??? the different sound guitars make? or what? does anyone else think this is true too?

i think finding thing melody on the piano is waaayy easier lol

guitar is a lot more complicated, for me at least
