Why is it every time some tries to legalize Hemp does it get tied in with Legalizing Pot?

If we could just legalize the industrial plant we would be much better off in many ways

Because no-one is taking the time to educate themselves and others (ie: politicians, farmers, voters, etc, etc, etc...)

Here in ND we made a legal distinction between the two types of cannabis. For years we had no definition of what hemp was and what marijuana was. Now, after years of work (we spent many hours with the Agricultural Commissioner as well as with our Representatives and Congressmen) we have a legal definition and (on a State level) legalization of hemp.....not pot!

The other reason?.....

Because those that want pot legalized haven't done the research either and are still in belief that hemp and pot are the same....let them smoke a bowl of hemp, just once....then they'll know....lol

Never going to happen. Big Business-chemicals, Pharma, Oil....rule the roost.

Hemp is def. an asset to clothing, fuel, paper, food, soaps.....but 100+years of big business can't be changed$
