I used to bartend in a Metropolitan city about 20 miles from my home. When driving home at around 2a.m. every morning from work, there would be a patch of fog between one point to another in the same spot EVERY NIGHT! Even if it was warm, cold, rainy, clear every where else, that particular spot would be foggy and for about a 3 mile radius. I just think that is so weird! Some explain this to me. It was EVERY NIGHT! I would be terrified sometimes because I would tell myself on that drive, "I hope it is not foggy on 7 Mile Rd. again" and God Bless it it would be!

  1. Could be because the road in that particular section was built right over a swamp.

  2. Look with all the pollution we have maybe that spot gets a lot of car traffic and its pollution goes up so far that the clouds have no where to go but down!

  3. Fog can usually form around bodies of water.  If you live in an area where its very humid, its likely to easily form, especially near water.

  4. Someone is having a cookout on that road every night and it is creating smoke. Stop by there one night and ask for a burger.
