Why is it getting warmer in NY when the glaciers are melting and making NY supposedly colder?

I thought global warming was supposed to make europe and the us colder. Why is it the hottest winter in 75 years in NY?

global warming dose not necessarily mean that all the earth will warm evenly, it just means that on average the whole world is warming but that global warming causing cooling thing is very unlikely.

That's why most nations agree to the term "global climate change" instead of global warming.  Everybody is getting screwed up weather one way or another.  Warm winters, strong hurricanes, deep freezes, droughts--it's all part of the package.

Global warming refers to the average over the entire planet. Weather patterns are changed, some areas become cooler but others become warmer.

Even the coldest New York winters are much warner than the average winter of 200 years ago.

I'm confused.  Is there ANY weather phenomenon that is not now attributed to global warming??!!

Low number of hurricanes....it's global warming.

High number of hurricanes....it's global warming.

Strong Hurricanes....it's global warming.

Weak Hurricanes....it's global warming.

Too much rain....it's global warming.

Too little rain....it's global warming.

Too few clouds....it's global warming.

Too many clouds....it's global warming.

Too much snow....it's global warming.

Too little snow....it's global warming.

Sounds like the global warming cult has developed a trump-card that can be used for all situations where their 'cause' needs support!
