  1. plain and simple;  protein.

  2. Protein, Iron and B12.

However, that's probably the ONLY good thing meat has.

Meat has lots of unhealthy stuff in it to, and eating it alot can provide consequences.

Your cancer risk is higher. Heart and kidney failure increases and there is such thing as having "TOO MUCH" protein.

  3. It really comes down to protein. For thousands of years, meat was one of the only and the easiest protein sources.

  4. Because we have done it for the two million years we have been in existence.

We seem to be doing fine so far, why stop now.

Vegetarians don't live any longer than meat eaters. That is a fact.

    Don't believe the vegan propaganda.

  5. It contains nutrients, fats and proteins that people need, and people have evolved to be omnivores.

  6. It's not. Humans are not carnivores, and do not have the body to process them very well. Check out http://www.vegtaste.com/main/posting.php... for a video that explains why.

  7. Meat has both pros and cons:

Good- It has a lot of protein

Bad- It also has a lot of fats

  8. tastes good

  9. Meat can be good, but most people eat far too much. too much protein can damage the kidneys.

  10. Well, some people think that it tastes good. It's also a good source of protein and other nutrients.

However, it's easy to get protein and nutrients from other, cruelty-free sources. For example, nuts and tofu have tons of protein. Also, many foods (like cereal and bagels) are enriched with protein. There are also fake meats that taste a lot like the actual thing. You can easily eat a balanced diet without any meat.

  11. It's not a good idea to label any food as 'good' or 'bad'. Anyone who says meat is ''bad'' or ''good'' is misinformed. It is neither. Like any food, it has positive and negative qualities.

Meat *can* be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet, as it provides many nutrients. If you eat meat, always try to buy organic/ free range produce if you can.

However, I simply choose to avoid it. It is not an essential part of the human diet.  I get my protein and other nutrients  from plant based sources.
