Why is it good for you to brush your teeth white baking powder and peroxide?

i mean doesnt it seem kinda random that you would use baking powder and peroxide to brush your teeth?

it shines your teeth like a bleach. its kinda like what dentists use. But don't do it constantly everyday. I forgot why but i know its not good. Do it once or twice a week

its actually really bad for your teeth and people that use that want to get their teeth whiter i just use crest white strips

baking SODA people say whitens them.. but im hearing alot of people saying that it can damage the tooth enamel and so can peroxide...idk if u want to try it, go for it! im not sure myself.. im scared it will make me teeth a darker shade but they say whitening strips help!
