Why is it good to learn french?

I REALLY NEED HELP OTHER THEN ITS SPOKEN ALL OVER AND THAT IT CAN IMPROVE YOUR STUDIES WHAT ELSE? PPPPPPPPPPPPLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEASE HELP ME!!!

  Yes, french is beautiful, i love speaking and writing it, but for me, i love english as well, and hope to write a book (someday).  Learning another language can help you to understand your own better, and french helps me think of new and creative ways to speak and write in english.  If you are wondering which language to learn, french is a good base, as it can also help you in spanish and italian, not to mention latin.  If you just want to know if you should learn a different language, you really have to want to and be invested to do well, otherwise you will be horrible.

It's fun & helps you understand things better- words in one language don't necessarily have an exact equivalent in other languages, so when you learn more than one you're broadening your vocabulary in a couple ways.

if you're canadian it's really good to know becuase of the large french population in canada. it makes it easier to get a better paying job or even a job in government. for americans it's just a perk to have i guess.

Business contacts, literature, science-a lot of great stuff is written in French and a lot of wonderful people speak the language.
