  1. We can, some of us.  Its the jerks who write, direct and act in the films that are causing the trouble.

Some people blame "two shotguns and a wedding" or the other nineties London rubbish.   Some people blame Bob Hoskins.  Personally, I blame Michael Caine.

    Sean Connery talks funny too.

  2. we (the British) invented the language I think you'll find that we're speaking it the right way you're not. it's not your language  it's ours, it's not called American. you can't steal a language and then tell the people you stole it from that they're speaking it wrong!

  3. FOR Melissa And "Family"... in a park in Lafayette...

"Cassidy's job was to protect the serpentine convoy".....

  4. Because they have different meanings to things like in America if someone says F&*^k you. They say it's curse but in Britian they  say it's an insult. That's why

  5. British people having British accents NON-SHOCKER.

You'll have to  try better than this if you want to troll.

  6. we do speak normally!! we just have a different accent to what your used to!! Not many people here can understand the american accent.

  7. "Movie" is american slang, if you mean "films" say so!

  8. Mostly because:

    a) the accent is different - brits also have many dialects. (E.g., London English is quite different from Liverpool English - and Cockney is quite hard for most foreigners to follow)

    b) Their jokes are typically very dry and sarcastic - not many people get them

  9. I find it hard as british people sometimes mumble depending on where they're from so I often have trouble understanding them in movies and tv but my girlfriend is english and has lived in australia for most of her life and can understand them perfectly.

  10. Define "normally".

Seriously, that aside, just because the English language is rendered in an accent or manner you are unused to hearing does not make it abnormal by any stretch. Unplug your ears and your mind and enjoy the richness and diversity of the English language. You might be suprised what could happen.

  11. English people do speak normally! I assume your from the USA, you are the ones who speak weird seeing as you all use the english launguage but live in america!

  12. I take it you're from the U.S.A...

Funny how you speak English over there.

Surely if you're speaking English, the language from ENGLAND, then you're the ones speaking funny.

    :)

  13. the english language is derived from england so ofcourse british people speak normal english!!!!!!!! u need to learn  REAL english .....

  14. the language is ENGLISH ... it comes from ENGLAND

the true version of the language then surely is the one from England ... other versions are copies, whether that's the USA, Australia, Scotland or whatever

it's you who don't speak normally, not us
