I kind of get an idea of why, because once you get close with a girl, they wouldn't won't to lose your friendship and such, from the fear of breakup, etc. Also, even if you get into a relationship with them, things wouldn't be the same in some ways. So I just want to know your opinions.

  1. A friend of mine says that friendship is always more important than having a relationship with someone. You'll find lots of people to be in a relationship with, but very rarely do you find true friends.

  2. I have had a friend since freshman summer in high school and I just have to say that we kinda flirted with the idea and the timing was never right.

Now we may joke around about it but after, what 8 years or so, he is more to me like a brother than anything else. He has always been there for me just like an older brother or relative would. So that's my opinion.

Of course if you have chemistry its a very different story. =)
