Question:

Why is it harder to run some days more than others?

Some days its very hard for me to run 3km, other days its simpler to run 6km. I find that the more running I do in a week the easier it is for me to run further distances. If however, I have a few days off running I'm struggling with 3km.

How can I manage to run the 6km comfortably every time?

  1. I experience the same thing!!

I think this is just part of your body's natural fluctuation, in addition to the amount of energy going into and out of your body each day.

Building up your endurance is your best bet, as you have been doing. The more energy you expend, the more energy you create.

Start noticing the patterns on the days you are having a lull.  What did you eat? How did you sleep the night before? How much physical activity was there in your day prior to running? Was there more/less stress than normal?

Take these factors into consideration and you will begin to understand your body's performance much better and be able to change whatever you need to as you see fit.

  2. ur muscles begin to tire out

  3. Maybe it's because of what you ate, if you had lots of carbs for lunch for example, when you run you have something to burn on

  4. you need to create a plan on what day you will run, i suggest 3-4 times a week. the reason you are struggling is because your muscles are expanding after a long run, you must give them time to rest. run a few days in a row then rest a few, giving your muscles time to rest. you will find it harder to run after a few days off but thats because your muscles have to get used to the strain again, they will be stronger but less adapted.

it is not healthy to put your body through to much exercise at once anyway!!
