Why is it ideal for an aircraft to fly with a nose down tendency?

hey peeps and experts, this question is kinnda more related to does it contribute to straight and level flight with an A/C properly trimmed...thanx guys

  1. Keeping the nose pitched down will help if you are having trouble keeping a level attitude or if you are making frequent banked turns, but otherwise I would not consider it ideal.


  2. Its not ideal for an aircraft to fly nose down.

    The airline would like to have a nose up loading ( tail heavy loading ) as this will save fuel .

    As far as trimming is concerned the center of gravity after loading of aircraft can be any where withing the loading graph, but airlines always suggest to load the aircraft tail heavy but within the required safety limits given.

  4. I don't think so, that would diminish lift, thus you would need more power to stay up and use more fuel, and that wouldn't make any sense!
