Growing up I had so many fights because I stood up for myself, having Red hair as a youngster, now more sort of faded (my father & brother were blonde) it always amazed me that as an Aussie, even Immigrants or Lebanese or Italians or Black people had more rights tha I did, so I learn't to fight (trained in boxing for 8 years) and was the Best Sportsman in the Region. So why the bs when i'm a 'Right full Aussie' of English & Scottish decent.

Same would probably apply in America! True?

  1. thats called red-hairophobia, its ppl who have red haired but havent accepted themseles yet

  2. Because people with red hair can take care of themselves.  Apparently black people can't without "I'm a victim!" legislation or 10 friends behind them.  Why on earth would you be bothered to be considered above that?

  3. yeah i feel for you bro, they should but i think people live with it and so they dont think you dont need any rights, but u had rights from bullyin....

  4. It isn't legal to abuse anyone.

  5. You are a privileged white person, and you are typing on a computer unlike a lot of the world who cannot even read or write.  Don't bother filling your mind with hating people of color.  I did the same mistake and all it did was waste my time.  There has always been more people of color, than us honky's, so just deal with it.  We invented a lot of neat gadgets, and pretty much taught them everything we know.  Then we were devistated with two world wars, and a Civil War in America, and Vienam, and Vietnow.

Now we have to deal with them, or they will exterminate us for our past arrogance.  We are no longer know it all.  Other races will pass us by, and we will become an anomaly.  Ignorance is found in all races.  My family is mostly ignorant drunks, and drug addicts, and they are all white.  Just hold pride in being an individual and make sure and do something with your life.  That is more important than worrying about foreigners  Ethnocentrism is normal, but just accept what you cannot change.  Once you go with the flow, and do what you need to do to get through this strange life, you will be at peace.

I heard even Buddha was white, and had red hair.  Now he has been turned into an idol, and worshiped as an Asian.  Ask my former Indian Sociology professor and he will tell you about the Aryan's of Europe who came and settled in northern India.  Look at the Caste system they still have in India today.  It's the lighter people on the top.  This is a complex subject.  It could take ages to answer.  Just forget it, and go with the flow.

Thanks for the four thumbs down, the truth hurts.  If you cannot live next to your fellow man, reguardless of race, you will get no where in this century.  The past is the past, now we must go on as humans.

  6. I'm not sure what the actual question is here as it is illegal to 'abuse' anyone.  If you are referring to hate crimes, then speaking as a red head myself, having red hair isn't an ethnicity like being Lebanese or Italians... So perhaps it was either something else that the kids were picking on you for, or perhaps it was simply the one thing that you responded to when others did pick on you.  When they called you names, that was the one thing that got you angrier than anything else so they kept picking on you for it.  Besides, look on the bright side of things, you were Best Sportsman of the Region while all the other red-headed-haters are washing dishes at the diner.

  7. Hmm...in America it IS illegal to "abuse" as you say

    ANYONE.

You can't go "abusing" people because of what

    they look like.

I suggest that if you are being "abused" you

should report this to the proper authorities.

  8. You can change the color of your hair - you cannot change the color of your skin. Discrimination is alive and well in all nations.

  9. There's a lot less anti-ginger sentiment in America, actually. I've never heard of it being a problem, at least where I live.

I don't know how to answer the rest of your question.
