  1. I have always wonderedd too.

My ancestors did. Then the Brits came with their overcoats and made nudity wrong. Now the Brits come with backpacks and go skinny dipping. Where the climate suits I have no prob with nudity.

  2. Move to Vermont.  You might want to bring some clothes anyway, tho, because it does get pretty chilly there in winter.

  3. oh my stars! oh my stars! if you thought men were comparing now with clothes on oh my stars how much more we could compare with no clothes on.

it's illegal because of morals and decency.

  4. I would certainly not feel safe if I walked around naked, and I feel that there is nothing wrong with the human body, it is a beautiful thing. I am naked as often as possible in my home, but I am safe and private there.

I would also never feel safe if my two lovely daughters were wandering about naked. There are some very sick and evil persons in this world, and I don't want them snatching away my children and either killing them or ruining their lives.

Apart from fear, I do believe that some things are sacred. s*x is a personal, emotional, and intimate thing you share with someone you love (for most of us anyway) and there are some parts of my body that I save for that one special person. It is his right to own the rights to that pleasure.

One last mention-My daughters are very young, and there is nothing wrong with preserving innocence. No one wants to walk around telling two year olds that Santa doesn't exist...why would we want to answer ridiculous questions about opposite s*x anatomy, and s*x in general to such a young audience. My daughters know only the very basics of reproduction, they don't know about s*x yet, and they have never seen a male organ in their lives. I would prefer to keep the mystery and innocence around until they are at a more appropriate age.

  5. It's not really just "religious beliefs" that prevent us from being able to walk around naked - it's more a moral sense of obligation. Now, we know that if it were proposed in the senate, we could probably get it passed that women would be allowed to walk around topless outside (which would be really nice on those really hot days...) like they did in some provinces of Canada, but I think the fear is that if people walk around naked, they'll sit on stuff and get their butt-juice all over it.

Also they think that if women are allowed to walk around naked, we will be raped on every street corner.

In reality, if everyone's walking around naked, the mystery is gone and I think there would be a lot less sexuality...  But that's just postulation based on the fact that a woman in slinky negligee is far more erotic than a woman totally naked.

I bet there would be fewer skin diseases if we were allowed to walk around naked sometimes...  You know, like boils on the *** - that kind of stuff?

Anyway, the problem really is that American are all prudes.

I'm assuming that you're an American asking this question?

  6. cuz Eden isnt here anymore! some things are pvt!

  7. Yeah, I wonder that everytime it's 95 degrees outside or when I have a pile of laundry. But, clothes and jewelry can be fun, too.

  8. Some shapes and sizes are NOT meant to be viewed. Seriously.

Do you REALLY want to see that? Oh, the humanity!

  9. That made me chuckle a little. There are some people that would make me vomit if I saw them naked (im sure I would make others vomit too with my nice 5 month post-pregnancy body). Public nudity may be illegal, but there is always a nudist colony. However there are rebels. My mom went to a rainbow gathering once. Lots of pro-nude free-spirited people there.

On a more serious note, nudity has a become a thing of sexuality in today' society. Its considered inappropiate because certian things are deemed sexual and therefore should be kept private. But I dont know about freedom of religion overriding the no public nudity law. I had never thought of that before.

  10. One word...RELIGION.

  11. I am a christian and I am a nudist. I go to church and tithe, and volunteer when possible. I have two little nudy boogies one is two and one is five months old. we are nude at home all the time. If I can get away with going to the mailbox nude that is okay. I am careful to not offend others, but most women are offended when they see a naked woman. I just think if we all free the mind of the nudity=s*x 100% of the time we will all be good. It is like  religion, it is great until you have a fanatic who goes to far. I think this will not be remedied any time soon. People are not s progressive as they say they are.  I know nature intended us to be naked there is no shame. big small tall a body is a body and it is special and unique to each person.  I wish it were legal I would not be afraid to take it off and walk with my head held high.

  12. Religion would be my guess, but I have never heard of any society that went around completely naked. Penile and vaginal covering is the norm in societies around the world, no matter the climate or technology level, most likely to offer some form of protection from the world around us.

I think people should be able to wear as little clothing as they feel comfortable wearing. Why are we ashamed of our or others bodies?

Clothing should be to protect us from the elements and the environment around us, not to hide us in shame in our everyday lives.

  13. Because if men saw naked women everywhere, they wouldn't be able to concentrate enough to drive a car.

I went braless once and nearly caused a car accident.

    It's a public safety issue.

Also, there are plenty of perverts out there. Some of us don't want them ogling our children and us.

  14. i know right? i hate clothes. their annoying and they just slow you down. if you think about it, humans ARE the only animals that actually wear clothes...

  15. because your body is disgusting and you should be ashamed of it.

KIDDING!!!! i dont know, although i dont think i would ever run around naked, i wouldnt really have a problem with it if other people did it. but there are always nude beaches and stuff.
