Because ignorance breeds hatred. Just read so many of the comments about other cultures/religions/countries/ethnicities on Y/A, the level of ignorant hatred is astounding.

It's not that important at all. THIS is the country the world looks to for freedom & opportunity. Others need to learn about us & our culture. Unfortunately we are in the midst of an invasion from the south by people who come here illegally & then demand that we change our culture to better suit them. Well it's starting to come back on them & they are being forced to change. Many do not agree with that are going back home & that's good for both sides.

We have a way of life here that has been fought for thruout history. All we have to do is to live that way. We are NOT required to learn of others. It makes me so sick to see how IGNORANT people can be when they come here because they have refused to learn our culture.

We are the leader of the free world. And we may not be the world's police but whose phone rings when there's trouble in the world? It's America's phone that's who. So don't worry about us learning of others, instead worry about other's learning of US!

In order to be thankful for what they got, to understand the views of other countries as to how they look like from the outside, so they can harmoniously cooperate in the global work force.
