  1. Math is spiral, there are many elements that need to be learned. When a student is missing significant these elements in math, there will be gaps making it difficult and very challenging to move on.


  2. Just because there are branches of maths that involve multiplication. Like algebra etc, but you'd learn all of this in year 7 and beyond...

    However, if you do need help or some one you know, beforehand, try memorising this, then filling out a blank grid and generally get used to sayng the patterns of mltiplication.

  4. Well its not crucial but it helps to ease the nerves as you know where you are going and at what times, its good to make sure you don't turn up to the wrong class, also it is to help their independence this way they aren't relying on others.
