Why is it important for me to balance dance team with academics?

i'm asking because i'm trying out for the dance team and we have to write a essay explaing that.

That is a seriously silly question. If you mean why cant you just do dance and ignore academics, thats out of the question. If you mean why cant you just focus on academics, and ignore dance, thats your choice.

You need a balnce in your life. Acadmics, im sorry to say, MUST come first. This is your futurewe are talkign about. Sure, its great that you are dancing. It a passion for me and i love it too. I manage to score great in dance exams (im talking honours distinctions) and win maths, science and english awards at school.

A balance is best, but thats just if you sk me.

and if you don't keep up your grades then you can't do dance team.
