It is important for America to continue to innovate and create technologies which keep us one step ahead of the competition.

We will be treated with respect and deference while we maintain that technological edge.  If and when we lose this edge in the future, there will be a new sheriff in town.

Let's hope that he will be as magnanimous as the U.S. has been during its tenure at the top.

the whole world is in awe of america.  it controls the world's pulse until such time when china and or india can do it.  it will take a few hundred yrs to do so.  

usa is the centre of the world much as many pple dont like it.  it makes the world economic machine grinding away. its the biggest spender, consumer, polluter, eater, waster etc everyone incl mad militants fr various religion still want to go to usa either to bomb it or to live and enjoy the good life.
