  1. Facts do not matter.  You either have the power or you do not.

  2. Very important... .but. nowadays the Press just make it up as they go along... look at that poor sod Murat... ( ok! the guy is a bit weird - aren't we all )  but because he didn't give the bint from the Daily Mirror an Exclusive - she made up a whole lot of stuff about him... But the Press dont care as a few hundred grand solves it..

  3. If you are part of the liberal media, it isn't important.

  4. how is this question food or drink related? It sounds like it needs to go on the social and culture forum, not this forum.

  5. If your facts are not ripe,

    yor reporting will be undercooked.

  6. I think you've put that in the wrong section but nevermind. Facts have nothing to do with reporting as Archibald Prentice (newspaper editor) said in the 19th century. He made the point, which still applies today, that what goes in a report often doesn't resemble the truth at all. It's dictated by the politics of the editor and owner of the newspaper and how they want a particuar person, group of people or event to come across. This is to get more people to subscribe to their politics and the political party they support.

  7. YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO SPREAD FALSE INFORMATION..IF SOMEONE SPREADED A LIE ABOUT YOU U WOULD PROBABLY SAY BEFORE YOU GO SPREADING STUFF MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE TRUTH.

  8. Because otherwise The Candyman will come out of the newspaper and eat you!

    Seriously, do your own homework.

  9. So you don't make a complete Pr*t of yourself.
