  2. How can you possibly know where to go if you don't know where you have come from!!!! T o have an informed choice increases the chances of a favourable outcome!

The obvious answer is that to learn more about man's present, you need to study his past.  Perhaps there is some practicality to that but for me the best reason is that it is all extremely interesting.  It demonstrates that humans are not as unique as we once thought and that we are part of the animal kingdom.  We underwent a series of evolutionary changes many of which were somewhat arbitrary based on the particular environment where we evolved.  These creatures, which were our distant ancestors, evolved into many branches of hominids, and eventually only one known form (us) lived to modern days.

  5. According to my Teacher's when I was in High School,It is important to know man's Origin because who will be the left people who haven't knowledge where he/she came From.

  8. The best way to understand man's nature is to study its origin. Some informantions gathered about the past will provide us adequate knowledge that will help us understand current and future events. Just as a basis I think.

  12. Science is a neverending quest for knowledge.  Where better to start than at the beginning?

  16. To try and get at the all important WHY.  Why do we exist as we do today?  Why are there differences among populations? Why did we begin using tools and walking upright? Why do we use symbolic language?  Why did we invent computers, etc....  In order to understand and get at these questions, we need to understand where we started, what mistakes and successes we've had along the way.
