  1. Society exists in communities or "teams" it is best that we learn how to work as part of a team early to ease our way through life.  Very few people get through life without being part of a "team"

  2. We all need to learn that no one person is an island and by working with others we can achieve greater results, reach personal goals and more importantly create friendships by pandering to everyone need to feel wanted.  Aaah lets all have a group hug then (no not the tree!!)

  3. It teaches you how to share in responsibility and coexist.

When you work as a team you show respect to others by accepting their input. It also shows you that you don't always have to carry the world on your shoulders, and sometimes you can share the load.  Thats what my mom said when i was 10 .lol

  4. many reasons including -

    creates a good atmosphere

    smooth running of group

all know what you are doing

all  working to the same aims and objectives

can help and support each other

children feel secure when team works well

many more if you want more let me know

why do you think it is important?

is there any particular reason you want to know?

  5. It is important to work together as a team to meet the needs of the children by providing a wide variety of curricular experiences through play.Good teams aim to moniter childrens progress and development and make any changes required to improve the quality of education.

These goals are achieved if the team work together with these aims and objectives. To work effectively as a team you need certain qualities to make the team work.eg good communication, thoughtfullness, respect, flexibility, sense of humour and many more skills. These contribute to a good team.If everyone works together the goals that are aimed for are achieved.

  6. Its important to work as a team because, it get the job done quicker and efficent.

I believe that there should also be leader for the team to follow to have some direction on where and what to do!

  7. For young children especially team work builds trust, compromise and sharing.

For children and teens it instills in them that asking for help is not a bad thing, and that helping someone else is a positive experience.

For adults it allows us to practice independance yet compromise.  It allows us to have respect for others who helping us, teaches us the use the words 'thank you' and 'I need help' - which many adults have forgotten.

  8. Because if you don't then nothing will get done and you'll end up arguing and turning people into HR and get fired and stuff.

    lol

  9. perception is the key word here...... see we all percieve situations in a different way....  There for we will all have different ways to deal with task in question.

We are all totaly unique and we all have our own strenghts and weaknesses.

by working as a team it gives everyone a chance to use their strentghs to combat the weakness in the group and therefore do the job in a more successful way.

when dealing with  children you need a never ending supply of ideas.  i run a youth club and i have a very good team  of youth workers. We bounce ideas of each other and polish ideas up so they work with our kids. Since taking over the club our youngsters have grown and become more respectfull. without their co operation we probably would have folded.

i guess what counts in a team is acceptance of each other and a willingness to share ideas and take someone elses ideas on board.

teamwork teaches kids how to share, how to tollerate each other and how to accept that sometimes its ok to stand back and let a more able person do the job.

  10. To help each other out and get the work done faster

  11. Its a good exercise to find out that you work much better on your own!!!   Like me, I hate others taking the credit for something I have either done or suggested - like my witch of a boss last week.  I will one day see her caught out for the pure biiiitch she is!!

  12. I work in a team of chefs. If we didn't communicate, didn't support one another and didn't listen and take on board the ideas of the rest of the team, then we would fail in our mission to have a good service and consistently produce good quality meals  for our guests. If there is a lot of bickering and back biting within a team then that team would struggle to deliver those same standards and would eventually implode and fragment.

  13. Together

    Everyone

    Achieves

    More

Teamwork enhances communication skills because you've got to consider and respect the views of others

  14. It gives you someone else to blame your mistakes on.

  15. you need to be on the same page  because you never know if that person my not be around and you still need to get the job done with or without the person it would be on you and another thing  a job runs smother when its a team running it
