  1. Because they can track ticket sales online and they keep the prices uniform. On the street, people bump up the prices and the eventholders lose money


  2. The scalping rules only cover transaction that occurr within the state.  When you call the thrid party vendors if they are in the same state as you, you will be transfered out of state for the transaction.
