I never thought about this, but I noticed that most male doctors, whether they are surgeons or general physicians, don't wear beards or mustaches. Is there any reason why?

  1. My doctor is a female but I know its mostly a personal choice and I never thought of it until I read your question! Thats awesome that you noticed!

  2. No real reason, perhaps some think its un-sanitary. It's a case of personal choice.
