Why is it my work visa in qatar is just good for 3 months? i have a 2-yr contract.?

Qatar has the discretion on how many months will you stay in Qatar and it is the reason that it gave you only three months.  Nevertheless, request for an extension and cite that your contract is two years.

for some reasons some nationalities are only given 3 months business visit visa. although its not a role some people get two years visa upon your company request.
