  1. The jet stream is way out of wack! There is something strange going on with the weather lately! We're under a winter storm warning, as the east coast swelters from record heat!

  2. it is not global warming it is just climate change. totally natural global warming is the biggest lie ever

  3. If you're asking about this year, we are now into the dry time of year in Southern California (May--October).  If you're asking about the last 10 years or so, we did have one very rainy year, but in general we have been having decreased rainfall.  The climate models overall do show that under global warming Mediterranean climates (like California) should have decreased rainfall, but interspersed with stronger storms.

  4. the song says "It never rains in southern california".

California has three seasons; rain/flood; mudslide; forest fire.

  5. Weather.  You can't attribute any short period of weather in a specific location to global warming.

You need to look at the long term temperature, globally.  Here it is:

It is true that heat powers weather.  More heat from global warming will mean more extreme weather events; storms, floods, droughts.  But you can't say any specific event is "due to global warming".  That involves long term data.

  6. South california is desert territory. It barly rains down here.

  7. When will it STOP here?  It's rained nearly every day for the last week and a half.

  8. because you folks are not very nice.

you chased Joe Btfsplk out of town.

  9. It never rains very much here, especially at this time of the year.  Some years we get more rain than others, but that's just how it is.  Southern California is, essentially, a desert.  It always has been that way.  No need to freak out.

  10. It is pretty typical of So Cal.  We live in a desert.  Normal years are called drought years.

  11. Because it's almost summer, we don't get rain this time of year
