Why is it o.k.,for gangs in san diego,are free to carry weapons,but our marines can't?

Reason for this Question,My son and one of his buddy,was in San Diego,this past weekend.Having fun like many of you all who goes out on the town.This gang of animals,suronded these two marines,after 2 or 3 went down,they the gang,went to the cars,got shovels,pipes,knives,beat-up these two marines,bad,if it was not for the cops,they would have goting kill.They,the marines,just back from Iraq,safe.Could have gotting kill in the streets of Calif.This is sad for our country.I'll be on here later,because,now my son is face with assult with a deadly weapon,witch belong to the gang.Way to go the police of San Diego.Put the good guys in jail n the bad one gets away.

It's not okay for gang members to carry guns. It is also not okay for military personnel to be armed absent martial law, or state request (posse comitatus act).

Who are the good guys that are in jail? Is your son maybe part of the gang?

To answer your question it is not ok. As it is not ok for Military

members to go armed on city streets. We would have   two wrongs

trying to make a right. This never works. Not being part or

Privy to the reading of the Police report, I can't even begin to

offer a avenue of understanding as to why the UNI'S did this.

There had to be some form of evidence, to lead them in that,

directon. However, what is important, is that your two marines. are just nicked a bit. When your over the emotional

part of this, and you can see the filings by the States

attorney, and the action complaint by the Uniforms. Then

sit down with your son and his friend. Get there accounting

of this. Go to a good attorney, get this addressed. For

right now, you can only wait to see what the charges bring.
