... when it comes to gender we indulge in moral relativism and burble on about "cultural differences"?

No one claims racism as a viable cornerstone of a culture, so why this is not the case about sexism?

Please think this question in global terms.

  1. Because there is no such thing as just one "feminism." Some branches favor the similarities between men and women, other emphasize the differences...

As it is, certain biological facts generally give men the advantages (more strength, size, endurance, higher I.Q., etc), and feminism CANNOT change this.

  2. It's not ok.

Feminism is not a science, it's an ideology.

In order for the ideology to exist, it must perpetuate fallacy.

  3. What are you talking about? - Feminism is one big objection to 'inequality' of gender.

  4. Because our rational is culture is the changing variable, whereas s*x is a biological constant that crosses all cultures. We don't think culture crosses all sexes, but we think in terms of "we are men and women", but the culture maybe entirely foreign. Therefore when we casually argue that I dunno.... Arab culture is sexist, or Hip-Hop culture is sexist, it is a subjective fallacy, though we that attitudes to gender maybe have different scion-economic origins and be entirely different from our own structuralist understanding.

Think about, if we thought about men and women with the polarity that we think about cultures, then it would be one h**l of a nightmare if we had to co exist. And marriage, family or work, would become a secular multicultural society, however bound by a socially constructed institution.

If we thought about it too much everyday we'd overwhelm are selves, that's why we resort to reductionism.

  5. I beg to differ.  Many mask their objection to other races for public consumption, or justify their racism based on "empirical" information.

  6. Because feminists use moral relativism as they main element of their belief system.

Feminists say "equality" but their actsions show different.
