Why is it ok to wear your swimsuit in public but not my underwear?

My underwear covers more than my swimsuit.

You would only wear your swimsuit on the beach, not in the street. You would not be seen in your underwear anywhere except in your bedroom by a chosen few.

I have always thought the same thing. Most bras and panties look like swim wear anyways.

Men always take there shirts off why cant woman, I mean even if we have a bra on? Right? men have b***s too, well, ok nipples not b***s. But isnt that what everybody says anyhow that its ok to show your boob just not expose the nipple, I mean most tv shows allow this.

So if they take there shirts off we should be able to also just not show the nipple even though men show there nipple,hmmm. I mean some mens "b***s" are bigger than mine and gross!

How much skin is covered isn't the point.  Swimsuits are more acceptable than underwear because they are less likely to be stained with something unpleasant.

The only thing I can think of is because the matiral that a swimsuit is made of is made for water and your undies are not pluse you only ware a swimsuit were you can swim not somewere like the mall.

SERIOUSLY! I advocate walking around in lingerie, why the h**l not? Swimsuits can be just as revealing yet you can walk into a Carl's Jr and order, but not in your underwear? That's just discrimination, maybe we like underwear more. I demand women walk around in their underwear! :D

maybe because your underwear is more transparent than a swimsuit, even if it covers more.
