Why is it on this, people always.....?

that when someone asks a question

someone will ask it with the right answer

and then like 5 mins later some a*****e answers with exact same answer

In my case, it's because I rarely read the other answers first.

They are not necessarily copying.  A lot of times I will answer a question without looking at what has already been posted, and the same answer has already been given.  Or, while I am typing my answer, someone else posts the same thing, so that when I post it looks like I have copied their answer.  If I see that someone has already given the same answer as mine, I will give their answer a thumbs up and not post mine unless I have something additional to say.

its not always the case, i mean loads of times ive posted an answer to find someone has posted basically the same answer in the time that ive written and posted mine, tis no ones fault really...unless its written word for word...then id be abit suspicious.

Because sometimes it says no one has answered the question, but then like 10 people already have. For instance it said no one had answered this question and I will be shocked if I am actually the first!!!

Several possibilities:

a) It takes too long for them to write out an answer (especially a detailed one) and by the time they submit it someone has already said the same thing.

b) People like to re-iterate what someone else has said to validate it and make it more reliable.

c) Some people just want the points.

I think these are the main reasons. So, generally I wouldn't say people that do that are "a******s".

often the correct answer is simply The answer... and because it often takes a while for a response to be posted by YA there are several who are responding corectly at the same time and their posts do not show up till after others have been posted.... just the random luck of who hits the post button fastest.
