As technology grows and people compromise on solutions to issues, so must the OPINIONS of a leader who plans on GROWING with the technology and COMPROMISING. Do you all not realize that when in the office a leader has more time to consider a plan, than he does while on the campaign trail? Meaning there will be more time to plan things before they are relayed to the public.

Science has repeatedly claimed salt as deadly/safe/harmful/okay-but-not-complet... and done the same things to alcohol, smoking, cholesterol, cellphones, etc... Yet where are all the campaigns against science? Where are the campaigns to go back to living in caves? Why is science not a "weak flip-flopper"?

  1. I would rather have a politician that changes his/her mind about an issue than a politician that stubbornly claims the same view regardless of any new information they are given.

  2. Changing one's view on a subject due to new information or revelations that weren't known to you before is just reprocessing data and coming to a new conclusion... changing as the wind blows or the polls show is just pandering to garner votes (and power)...

  3. When I hear of flip-flopping, I always have to ask myself if the person is changing opinions to appease the public.

  4. Thank you so much for that.  I really couldn't care less if a politician "flip flops"   I always say to people when they are complaining about McCain or Obama flip flopping ...They never changed their mind on something they once believed but circumstances changed and you changed on your mind on something you once firmly believed in?  I never got what the out rage was about politicians flip flopping.   If they "flip flop" for the greater good of the country and the people they can flip flop 2 million times for all i care.

  5. Because Obama is not a stable person... James 1:8 He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways
