  1. Because Muslims will blow you up...Christians will just whine

  2. I mock all religion equally.

  3. *sigh* because no one likes us ..

  4. Maybe because it's a frog?

  5. It's art either way.

    It's about appeasing, that's all.

  6. because Christians are more matured people and knows to wipe the feet where they are not respected.

  7. because Christians are hypocrites

and most Islams follow their gods rules very closely

  8. Double standard.

  9. JESUS   SAID  THE  WORLD  HATES  HIM  AND  IT  WILL  HATE  SOME  OF  HIS  FOLLOWERS   ALSO.WHAT  YOU  SEE  IN  THE  WORLD  TODAY  WAS  RECORDED  IN  THE  BIBLE  THOUSANDS  OF  YEARS  AGO  AND  UNDERSTOOD  BY  OUR  LORD.HIS  SPIRIT  GUIDES  AND  LEEDS  US  UNTO  THIS  UNDERSTANDING  ALSO.    THANK YOU  D'S

  10. I hate Islam and Christianity equally , Happy now ?

  11. Only good thing about that, is if they take over, liberals will be the first people they go after

  12. Because Christians aren't as apt to stage a riot and kill people.

Jesus taught us to pray for people who mock us, not to kill them and burn their houses down.

You have called it exactly. Governments do not want to upset Muslims, because of their violence.  It isn't even safe to name a teddy bear after their "prophet", as the world is now quite aware.

However, mocking Christianity, which is truly a religion of peace, seems much safer.

    Well, for now, anyhow.

Eventually...and maybe sooner than we think...they will find, to their sorrow, that our God is not mocked.

  13. Actually I don't believe any non-Islamic government condemned the cartoon drawing. But I'm worried and incredibly disturbed to find that I do agree with you on something for a change; obviously the reaction from parts of the Islamic community in that case was indeed shameful and over-the-top.

Things like this should be free to lampoon. Speaking as someone who believes in equality, I would say the museum has just as much right to display this piece as they do a classic painting, such as a Monet or a Degas.

Speaking as someone who has a modicum of common sense, this and many other items categorised as 'modern art' show about as much talent as it takes for a baby to c**p themselves. Seriously, the modern art community have to be the most pretentious bunch of wankers on the planet.

  14. I personally think criticizing any religion should be considered art .

Now that is what I call art .

  15. All I can say us thank God Christians won't go around protesting and burning buildings because of this art like the Muslims would if it was Mohamed.

  16.   As an American, I do not think the gov't should get into the business of regulating art.  (I can see refusing to fund art, but not regulating it)  The government should not be in the business of determining which religions artists can parody.  If someone decides to riot over a piece of art, the government should bring the full force of the law against the rioters, be they offended Muslims, offended Christians, or offended Zoroastrians.

The article you posted took place in Italy.  Since I'm not Iiving in Italy, I am not going to get upset about this.  And I have no idea if they have taken the same stance with art that mocks Islam or not, or any other religion for that matter.

  17. I am a Muslim but i find that link very very distasteful!! How disrespectful to Christians!!... Even though i am a Muslim i still have respect for other peoples believes and don't think anyone has the right to mock them!!

  18. Liberal notions of victims and oppressors.  The great Christian white America is seen as the oppressor (we must be, we are a relatively wealthy nation which has benefited from capitalism--couldn't do that without oppressing others).

Plus, our world-wide charity is left out of this equation, including the billions (trillions?) poured into countries we won wars against (what other nation does this?).

And finally, fear.  They fear Islam taking over their civil rights, and they do not fear Christians.

  19. The western world which is generally Christian promotes freedom of speech.

Freedom of speech is a right - common sense is a duty.

  20. I actually agree with you.

All religions, all things, really, should be equally open to mocking.

  21. Fear. For all the c**p we give you Christians, I will say this: you're not blowing S**t up when you get offended. Frankly, I'm getting sick and tired of coddling these Middle Eastern extremists every time they get their panties in a bunch because someone named a teddy bear Muhammad, and then go on a rampage like a bunch of psychopathic children. Enough is enough. I'd like to see those cartoons pasted on billboards on the highway just for protest and spite.

  22. HOLD ON

Muslims feel INSULTED when any prophet is insulted:

    they are all OUR PROPHETS

I was very hurt loong time ago when nonholywood made an insulting movie about Jesus ppuh :

    the last temptation of Christ.

all religous values should be red line to all not by force of governments, but by the respect of the crowd

  23. Because Extream Muslim's will kill you for disrespecting their religion.

  24. I mock all of your religions, I don't care if you are a muslim or a christian...

Mary was a w***e, Joseph couldn't keep it in his pants one more second, and she wanted it.

    Muhammad was a douche.

    Et cetera.

  25. The Romans crucifed tens of thousands of people:  why do Christians assume the frog was meant to represent CHRIST?????? He could have been Spartacus!  I don't remember Christ ever chowing down on beer and eggs.

"Feet first" would seem more to be mocking PETER (who was, allegedly, crucified upside down) than Christ.

Perhaps the Pope should spend more time apologizing for his Anti-Muslim remarks, and less time worrying about green frogs.  It just makes him look silly.

  26. So, Just because Jesus was crucified, Anything containing a crucifixion is mocking?  And I believe it was only the Muslims, not all governments condemned the cartoon of Mohammad.

  27. Because you don't have to worry about Christian extremists blowing up your buildings.

  28. Its disrespectful either way, which is exactly why i do it.

  29. I think it is art whenever any religion is mocked, especially when it is mocked well.  Look up some George Carlin clips to see what I mean.
