Why is it reading no discs on my computer

every time you put a disc in u can hear it spinning but nothing happens

Have you had your PC unit opened reciently. Sounds maybe as if the IDE cable is not in correctly. (either not in the sockets propley or not in the right way!)

or maybe you have a bad drive.

time to change your Disc Player.

You can try putting in a known good CD (say a new audio CD or Windows Installation Disc). If still "no disc" error, I'd say your player is faulty and its time to replace it.
