Why is it so difficult to find a career if you're changing fields?

All of my experiences have to do with customer service. This is an area I want to focus on. I don't get it. Even though I'm applying for customer service based positions, I still don't establish myself in the employer's mind to get a reply from the application. So even if I have the experience of the field I want to get into, why is it difficult?

  1. Customer service jobs are wanted by many. Fields that have high turnover are easier to be picky with. Try the medical field.

  2. thats probably because they dont think that you have the right expierience for this but at your next interview you should say something like "i understand if you  may think that i am not the right candidate for this position but i will apply 110% to everything" something like that.. im sure eventually you will find a job! good luck!
