  1. It's to try and deter foreigners from coming into the country and staying forever...  No just kidding...  depressing isn't it...

Whenever someone asks me why English people are miserable, I ask them how you are supposed to feel when you haven't seen the sun for a week...

  2. I have a theory, having spent a week in Greece. I reckon we need the cold and miserable weather to work hard and develop our economy. If you think about it, the countries in the world with the most power, commerce and business are those that are relatively cold.

If you lived in the south Mediterranean, then you'd have to stay indoors or sleep for a large part of the day. It's just too hot to function, so their work day is far shorter.

The southern states of America are less economically driven than the states in the north of America- that's where the country is really run from (ie New York).

If you're so unhappy being here, find somewhere else to live. Personally, I like our country and the quality of life here. We have a lot of positives, and in my eyes, they outweigh the negatives

  3. grow up

  4. unless you're a teenager, england sucks

and thankfully im a teenager so i love it ;]
