Life is easier when it is delusion free.

Life is easy, because we know that there is no additional baggage of delusional belief weighing us down.

Take god out of the equation, and you eliminate most of the fear.

It's liberating not to be afraid of intangibles all the time.

Because God does not strike you down if you don't believe in Him. And He is not the only source of morality or moral content.

And besides, belief in Him only makes you feel like "I have to do what He says or I burn in h**l for all eternity." That's like your parents telling you, "Do what we say or we'll torture you even after you die, forever." Doesn't make you feel good, does it?

Hence, unless you truly believe that God exists, trying to believe in such a being only adds to your discontent. If something doesn't make sense to you, let go of it.

Because that is what you choose to do.  We all have choices.

God does not force people.  There have been many happy people without him.  Remember Hitler?  He was very satisfied making himself a God.

Back when I was a deluded believer I was a lot harder on myself.

Now that I'm Atheist! everything about me is super and flawless!

Because that's exactly what the devil wants you to think. You see the devil paints that pretty picture to deceive those that are ignorant of God's amazing love. This world that the devil has disguised as such a delightful place, is really in reality fun for just a season. But... afterward when it's all said and done, the people that are more happy, successful, satisfying, and that have fulfilled their lives are the people who lived their lives for God. Read the book, at the end, the devil will indeed lose. The victory belongs unto God and his children. To me, I rather give God my all and live for him with all of my heart and soul, than to live in sin for only a season. Not to mention, my reward will be far greater than anything that you have or will ever accomplish.
