  1. I am a manager of a restaurant. I will hire a felon, but it depends upon the crime they committed. Obviously, I don't want someone convicted of stealing money. I know not all felons are going to recommit their crimes. I try hard to hire everyone as fairly as I can. People who operate businesses are responsible for what goes  on and are held accountable if something bad happens. It also does not help that the media portrays every felon as being bad.

  2. WHY??

CUASE WE AFRAID YOU LL RAPE US

    DATS WHY

    OK???

    DATS WHY!

  3. You are not a real felon just an A______ H____le

Trying to be What you are!

  4. Its because you had betrayed the trust of the human race ; but no its not fair for you guys ; you should get a second and even a third chance ; ;; My advice is this one ;; move to another state where nobody knows you and shut about your past ; but this time do not s***w up your life . Good Luck

  5. you need to re invent yourself. think out of the box. don't depend on traditional ways to startover. Get a job as a waiter, they make good money ,you can do catering at weddings too.

save your money, start your own business ,it can be done and you have to do it.

  6. Because people automatically assume you will be a repeat offender

sorry but a lot of people have that mistrust

It is often what leads to people re-offending to begin with...

you begin to get the feeling that everyone wants you to s***w up so they can put you back in jail....so many doors get slammed in your face...

but you can not give up keep trying someone will give you a chance there are still those out there who trust

  7. Generally because a Leopard never changes it's spots. Once a criminal always a criminal. Once a druggie always a druggie. Once an alcoholic, Pedophile etc...

Think about it, if you're a decent law abiding homeowner do you want someone with a felony record living anywhere near you. If you're an employer do you want the potential liability of have a felon in your workforce?

  8. This is called:

Living with the consequences of your actions.

You did the crime - now you have to earn back our trust.

  9. That would all depend on what you were convicted for. We are not a very forgiving people, for example if it was a crime against a child I certainly would not want you near my home. I can give a second chance to people except in cases of crimes against children or murder except in self defense.

  10. I have a friend who made mistakes in the past and ended up a convicted felon, he had a rough few years getting back on track.  He now runs a very succesful business.

Just don't give up, someone will have the compassion to give you a second chance.
