  1. The Katana is designed as more a sport touring bike, as a result is alot heavier than full on sport bikes.

  2. I used to have a problem doing wheelies on my katana 600. I usually had to rev up and then pop the clutch on first to get it up high enough to maintain it. It helps to have your feet on the back pegs too!

  3. If you don't know how to do one stop trying. First of all you can wreck your bike if your inexperienced. Heck I have seen experienced people overdue a wheelie. Also if by any chance a cop was around its a hefty fine. One time a cop gave me a fine he said I did a wheelie because my light went up. I was on an 89 Ninja 600 I don't think I did a wheelie

  4. 4000 revs drop the clutch   wheelie roll it of into 2nd whack it open again rock n roll dude .

  5. no.  your probably not leaning back enough or not giving it enough gas or not popping the clutch hard enough.

  6. Pin the throttle in first and as the tach sweeps past 6000rpm jab the clutch, and it should wheelie, if it doesn't then rev it to 7000 thou and try the same.......

  7. Your bike has a very poor power to weight ratio. Perhaps putting it on a diet will help or if wheelies are really important to you as they are with me go bike shopping... I live to wheelie and wouldn't own a bike that couldn't preform it's duty...
