  1. maybe you were so attached to him and you found it hard to believe that he's not with you anymore physically. keep yourself busy to occupy yourself then slowly you will learn to accept that he's in other side of the world already

  2. Sometimes when you are so close to someone and they die, you let that person's death take over your life.  I think you need to see a therapist.  They might be able to help you sort through your reasons why you can't let go.  Do you have other people in your life who you can talk to?  Can you relate to anyone else in your family?  What you need are other people who go through or have been through this.  Start with members of your family.  Talk to your friends.  Get out more.  You can't let go as long as you immense yourself in trying to believe that he is still flesh and blood.  He is with you in spirit, and he wants you to let go, as much as you don't want to.  Find the people in your life that can help you feel better, so you can get past this hardship.  God bless you.

  3. Riley,

Some things you don't get over some things you get through. He must have been a very special man in your life and now He is gone and that is hard. Death is hard to deal with.

My pastor died over 5 years ago and it is still hard for me to deal with. I wonder is he proud of my husband and I? Does he know we know we moved 3000 miles away? My pastor was an anointed man of God and cared for those no body wanted to bother with.

Enjoy the memories you had with your grandpa and treasure them and you are normal for feeling this way. I have a picture of my pastor and me on my refrigerator.

Like I said before some things you don't get over some things you get through.

Be encouraged and know God is with you through this rough tough time.
