Why is it so hard to find a pair of jeans?

I was at the mall for 3 hours today and couldn't find a pair that fits right. When the length is right, it's too tight at the waist. When the waist is right, it's too long for me. And I really need something by next week for school, I only have one pair that fits me currently!

Just get a pair that fits around the waist, then hem the bottom. Some good stores to look at are Aeropostale, Old Navy, Kohls and J C Penny's.

I agree with the girl that said find jeans that fit at the waist and then get them hemmed.  That is the only choice nowadays.  But try to invest in a quality pair that will last before paying a tailor that much.

Sometimes I have to buy jeans and play the shrink to the perfect size by throwing them in the dryer and washing them on the hot cycle.  It sucks when you get it wrong.

Get the ones that fit at the waist and that are long at the bottom and get them hemmed.

i had the same problem but yesterday i finally found some jeans

you should try different stores because they all fit kind of different and try different sizes and lengths too and youll find a pair that fit and you could just get the jeans in different washes

The majority of the time I find a pair that I like and end up having them altered anyway. I don't think I've ever owned a pair of jeans that I didn't need shortened.
