  1. Are they possibly in Seattle or Redmond WA?

I found a Luke A Alvarado age 28 with what looks like a sibling Matthew B Alvarado age 36 there.  No hits on the exact info you have above.

go to public-records-now.com  you can see the general info for free but there is a small fee to expand the info such as the address or phone numbers.  This is where to start to at least start your search in the correct city and state.

you can search for phone records at zabasearch.com

or many other online phone directories once you have city and state info.

Also use sites like myspace, classmates.com and reunion.com.  All places you can at least get some free info from.

    Good luck!

  2. You mentioned that it was an open adoption.  Open adoptions typically mean that the adoptive parents and biological parents have some type of contact.  Have you been able to contact your bio-parents?  Have they been able to help?  Do you know what agency was used?  They should be able to help you also if it was an open adoption.  If nothing else, you could leave a letter with them to provide to your brothers if they choose to look for you.

    Good luck.

  3. Seek out adoption registries online.  Register with all of them if you need to.

A private investigator may not be as expensive as you think.  Give a few a call and find one that can provide you with the service you need at a price you can pay.

  4. Not everyone is interested in finding birth relatives.  And not everyone is interested in being "found".

But you can try going on Tina's Adoption Search.  This is a very good website which can provide you education and guidance about the search process.

    Good luck!

  5. I wish you luck and sorry that you had to go through this, I hope that you will find them and god bless you
