Why is it so hard to get accepted to a school?

My grades are good, my SAT score good...what's the problem?

When the principle of the school I applied to interviewed me and told me as soon as someone from the school leaves, i'll immediately take his place. Why cant he just put me in the school? I mean, cant the school have one more person?

I really worried cause there hasnt been any update and the school i applied to begins on monday.

Someone please tell me what to do!!!Should I call?
