I can't really smell my own all the time. (I know it stinks) Other peoples p**p stinks horribly bad compared to my own. I want to know why p**p is the hardest smell to get used to? Other odors stop smelling after awhile. It's like coming home and smelling your own home, but it has smelled that way the whole time.

The world is full of p**p why is it still so nasty to smell?

  1. We humans are biologically conditioned to avoid other people's  p**p, since it can contain pathogens that can put us in risk, so during our evolution we were made to avoid the p**p of others. I believe this is rather unique for humans, because many other social animals do not avoid the p**p of others of their species.

  2. I once had the pleasure of working three stories underground in a sewer pumping station.  After five minutes, as with most odors, you get used to it and ignore it.

  3. its like spoiled meat- its natures way of letting you know "hey thats c**p" get rid of it.  can u imagine if p**p smelled like sugar cookies.  the world would be much more messed up.

  4. Because **** stinks. :)

  5. because we arent meant to get use to that smell... when you do you have problems.
