I'm 34 and still confused. Life, School, Children, A profession, Marriage; I have had a hard time putting everything together. Sometimes I want to quit on everything. How can I motivate myself to keep going with all these together.

  1. Well, what do you want?  Part of being an adult means accepting responsibilities and taking care of yourself.  You are not obligated to get married or have kids.  You are obligated to accept the consequences to any action you take and fend for yourself.  Do not take that sentence as that you don't, I'm just stating in a general sense.  How do you want to take care of yourself?  I presume it is buy getting a job you enjoy and earning a living.  Everything else is optional, but can be nice.

  2. Who says you have to grow up.

Just figure out what you are interested in and go for it.  If you do not have anyone relying on you ie; wife or kids, then there is nothing wrong with you.  Have fun in life.
