Why is it so hard to make money on eBay nowadays?

A lot more people use it nowadays and they know that they can pay smaller amounts of money for things. But I've heard that people are setting up their own eBay shops. Maybe you'd make more money that way?

because more and more people are selling on there plus everyone seems to be struggling financially. the two combined equal a tough time selling stuff on there.

cause so many people have been burnt either by getting S**t or not getting property or simply retail have become just as competitive.

if you sell somthing popular or needed, it shouldn't be hard to make money
