  1. cos we dont want more aliensssss

  2. Because ours are all very highly desirable countries and each offers a far better way of life than other English speaking countries.

Speaking for Australia, we have a rapidly growing economy and a massive demand for places and are able to pick and choose who we accept as immigrants to ensure that everyone who comes here is immediately able to contribute needed skills.

If it's an American asking this question, believe me, it's nigh on impossible for an ordinary Australian to get residence in your country.

    EDIT:

Apart from the problem of getting a work visa, there's no point in coming here if you don't have skills in demand here. Without the right skills, there's every chance you woyldn't be able to find work and new immigrants don't qualify for unemployment benefits for at least 2 years, even on a permanent visa.

Oh, and don't believe that it's possible to "try getting a working visa and working in north Queensland picking bananas for a while" to get your foot in the door. Work visas for Australia are not available for anything other than listed skilled occupations. New Zealand is easier to get into on that score as they do accept unskilled workers for agricultural work.

  3. Years ago you only needed a one way ticket. Perhaps you could try getting a working visa and working in north Queensland picking bananas for a while. This may get you a foot in the door. Otherwise, you may have a particular skill that is in demand here such as nursing for example.
