Well, it depends.  It's easier to write something you feel passionate about.  If you don't have passion towards the subject, it's harder.  However, rhyming helps.  Try to always create music with passion and original feelings, otherwise it may not be the same.

i always think its easier to type songs because im a fast typer and watever comes to mind, i just type, idk, i guess i've made a lot of songs so its kinda easier for me now, but just think of words, that kinda rhymn but not in every sentence, and then have like 4 lines and then have the chorus which should be like 5-6 lines, and then go to verse two and do the same process for verse 1 and then just copy and paste the chorus, and then for the 3rd verse you have to think of a tune that kinda goes along with the original tune but not exactly like it, and then you make up words with that 3rd verse, and then you copy and paste the chorus again, and then you can end however you want to, either just leave it at the end of the chorus, or repeat certain parts of the chorus, or you can just repeat the whole chorus over. idk that just what i do! hope you can make a song with that advice!

You got to have the talent for it.

But that's not to say you can't develop the ability to write music. It's starts with learning the the rote skills of reading & writing (down) music. There are basic laws to music. Once you have leaned them, your on your way!!!

sometimes you just gotta let it come to you. I dun  really write songs i rite short licks and solos on guitar. the trick is to be very patient and make it sound jut the way u want to. if you are talking about writing songs as in lyrics then i m not quiet sure.

it is hard for me to rite songs 2. somtimes u neeed 2 b able 2 play some sort of instrument or have alot going on in ur life 2 sing about. iv bn wonderng that for a wile 2!

I have wrote my own song but it took me about 2 weeks

they are so hard to write because you need the right words or it does not sound right

so don't worry if it takes you 2-4 weeks

music is hard to write for the same reason its hard to do anything dealing with an art. it takes time, practice and inspiration. it take some musicians months and years to write song.

For me, it's the rhyming and getting the right syllable count.  I'm actually trying to write one right now, but I'm stuck cuz I can't think of a good but original-sounding rhyme.

Sometimes when you try to hard to make something happen, it only just makes the very part of your brain that you are trying to use shut down. I think the absolute best music, just comes to you in a moment of sheer inspiration. I have written a few, and I "heard" each of them completely in my head in a nanosecond before I picked up the guitar and played it for the first time

It helps to break it down in little pieces, and if you're not good at some part of it, analyze why. There are two basic parts, words and music. If your words sound like everything else that's out there, increase your vocabulary and experience. But ask someone that really knows and will tell you the truth, whether it's good or bad.

But when you first work on something, don't criticize it right away. Get everything down, then refine it later.
