Why is it so hot lately?

I'm in New York at the moment, and it's extremely hot.

I was wondering, does anyone know if its going to be this HOT ALL SUMMER?

will this be continuous?

or is it just one of those random hot spells??

well im in jersey and this was a big heat wave that happened

i dont like the hot weather at all haha its supposed to get a LITTLE cooler towards the end of the week but im sure summer is gonna be brutal

Sorry if i offend any1 when i say this, but global warming doesnt exist as far as i know(hello? the world gets hot...IT HAPPENS)  But to answer your questions, it usually gets hotter in the begining of summer then startes getting in the lower 90 and 80's

(And to all the other ppl who answer this Q, don't just give my answer a low rating just because i don't have the same opinion than u)

OMG its because of Global Warming and the Greenhouse Effect...duh!!! Ha only kidding. The Earth is always changing, therefore it being hotter this year than previous years is only because it is a part of earths natural cycle. on a side note, i am not liberal or an environmentalist tree hugger.

Welcome to summer.  In my 36 years on Earth, it does this every year, summer always comes.  It always gets hot.  Get used to it.

I was surprised at that.  I used to live in NY, (Rockland County) and it didn't used to get that hot until August.  I would think it is a spell, though global warming probably factors a little in there.

I'm stuck in FL now and we have it that hot from May to November,  ugh....

I wonder if all the posters with the snide answers have ever lived in NY?  It is not normal for that part of the country to be so hot.  It should be in the 70's.
