  1. It's strange how you can to the pub and drink with thieves and wife-beaters but reserve your harshest criticisms for members of your own family

  2. you can forgive and forget a stranger.

it's harder to forgive someone you love because you dont expect them to hurt you in the first place.

  3. Because you don't share a bond with a stranger. You don't feel like the stranger should know that whatever they did wrong is truly wrongful and going to hurt you. When someone you know hurts you it hurts more because you feel like they should know you well enough to not do whatever it is they did wrong. With a stranger they seem more "innocent".

  4. It's easier to forgive a stranger because you don't know that person and what they do to you does not matter, vs. someone you love it hits you harder, cause its hard to even think how someone so close to you can make you upset.

  5. Because the person you love isn't supposed to hurt you.

  6. Because you expect someone you love to love you back and therefore take more care not to upset you in the first place?

  7. Because you trust the people you love and you dont expect them to hurt you so when they do it hurts so much more than when a stranger does it. If a stranger hurts you it is never as bad because you were never in a position where you trusted them with anything and everything.

  8. You have a more intimate or personal relationship with someone you love.

  9. Because there is no baggage!

  10. For the simple fact that you have Nothing invested in a stranger. We always have investments in the people we love, in some way, shape or form.
