Why is it so socialy unacceptable and againsed the law to be Naked in public?

After all we all have the same "bits and peices"...... and if you comfortable with your body and you have no sexual inentions... why is it considered wrong?

Social norms change with place and time. The Victorian age was worse than today. Today, most places in Europe are more liberal than America. America is run by the religious right which is not that far removed from the Taliban. You must remember that the western democracies have come a long way in the past hundred years ... the middle east has a lot of catching up to do,especially regarding the rights of women.

First of all children do not need to be exposed to naked people it's just wrong. And secondly there are so many nice outfits out there these days I'm sure you would look more attractive clothed.

Not everyone can go around with no "sexual intentions" flying into their heads, even less people can go about without acting on these "sexual intentions".

Prevention is oft said to be better than cure! Prevent yourselves from those who can't help themselves before it's too late! Wearing clothes is a prevention in today's world!

Because people look better with clothes on and who wants to see  80-90 year olds without clothes.....ya wanna see nudity..join a nudist colony..It's 2008 and people aren't even comfortable with breast feeding in public...just society I guess and the way we were brought up.

Cultures and what is accepted in society are different everywhere you go. In some places women go topless just as men do (does National Geographic come to mind?). It's all about what your particular society deems appropriate for the community.

I believe clothes were first "invented" to protect against weather...you know, back in the cave men days.

I also believe that they became required at some point, ages ago, to keep others from feeling temptation.

Eventually it just became something that was required and expected in most societies. Those who do not feel the need to wear clothes all the came create their own, smaller, societies such as nudist colonies.

Children do not need to be seeing it. Not only would it cause problems for the child, but the parents would be spending the next DECADE explaining the assorted parts and what they are used for in a way the child could understand. And frankly, there are some people who should be clothed at ALL TIMES. I don't relish the idea of seeing man b***s or big huge bellies and bums on a continuous basis. That would be SOOO wrong!!  Thanks for asking!!

When all the people in the world are naked , u can go naked too like early man did it in prehistoric times. that is the real nature!

but for today people follow a fashion and consider nudity to be bad in public ( personally i believe the human brain has evolved ).......

So wear ur pants before u go out! :P
