Why is it so wrong for men to wrestle women?

Question

Other than the Kofi/Mickie vs. Beth/Santino matches, we don't often get to see women and men wrestling each other in those kind of matches. I like those matches, but for some reason if a man lays one hand on a woman, he gets booed?

Even when Batista threw Vickie over the ropes, and Undertaker tombstoned her, there were some people filing complaints to WWE saying "YOU ARE ABUSING WOMEN" and calling them sexist.

Is it really so wrong for them to be banging the women around? I'm a girl and it's never bothered me. The only thing that bothers me is when people think it's okay for women to slap men, but they can't retaliate.

Anyone else share these feelings?

yes, i do share these feelings; what they should have is a hardcore kitchen match, where if the woman gets pushed out of the kitchen, she goes into "dangerous territory" and loses the match.

ok People say men and women should be treated equally but the truth is that can never happen. Men and women are different you cant have a apple and orange and say it will be the same. Yes women and men should get equal rights but it doesnt make them the same physically. im all for womens rights but god made us different not so we can be equal so we will be different, because well we are DIFFERENT. imagine the same kind of flower same kind of cat same kind of dog same kind of mountain same kind of fish in this world. IT WOULD SUCK.

Mostly it's because of stereotypical gender roles.

When looking at standard gender roles, which still exist in a way, men are not supposed to hit women because they are considered the more "dainty" and "weaker" gender, and it's not just due to the past opinions. Anatomically, men and women are structured differently, and it's very noticeable in the WWE.

I see nothing nothing wrong with that. I mean some of those girls can take most of the guys there. And it's funny how they would worry about a man and woman fighting affecting children but not about how half the divas have posed for playboy young girls also watch wrestling and that's not a very good influence neither. WWE doesn't think of that part while trying to do their whole kid friendly ways though.

People think it's wrong because it is. In most cases, men are bigger than women, so people see it as taking advantage women. As far as the Vickie Guererro thing, she doesn't qualify as a woman in my book. Also, Beth Phoenix will probably interfere like she did with D-Lo Brown. But D-Lo wants the Intercontinental title too, so he might try to get in on the match.

I don't believe there is anything wrong with men wrestling women myself. The only issue I have with it is if someone the size of Batista and John Cena are performing moves on someone say...... Candice Michelles size. (This is just not morally right as it would not be if someone Spike Dudley's size fought Kane).

they see women as less strong so they try to keep them away form the men which i think is bull and if women want to they shud be allowed to fite men

Maybe because there's a lot of little kids watching and parents are worried that the WWE is sending a bad message to their kids especially boys ,that it's okay to hit women.
