Why is it some people get mad at a person and stay that way and say they will ?

never speak to you again and they have so much hate and the fude was they are the ones that got mad over something that was repeated and took wrong by them.Its so weird how people are but to hate someone forever geez

I am one of those people. I have done that to two people in my life, one at an early age and one recently. I don't cut people out of my life and hold a grudge lightly. I do it because I feel the relationship I have with these people are so toxic that no matter what is said or done, it will always remain that way and I will always continue to get hurt.

However, in both situation, I don't really hate them. I don't feel anger, not like what I did at the time. I really don't feel anything towards them, except I know that I don't want to get involved with them ever again. Once I make the decision to cut them out of my life, I don't really spend any time thinking about them ever again either.

If someone holds a grudge for a long time, then it is probably because they are still hurt or mad about it.

You just need to understand that we all have different buttons that push us, and we all have different reactions.

Some people forgive and forget, some people don't forgive and don't forget.  Whether it was their fault or not.

Some people you can't reason with - that's just who they are.

They say it because that's how they feel at that moment in time.  They may or may not calm down and get over it.  Some do, some don't.

It's also a huge waste of time and energy, don't you agree? Life is so short and anger uses up so much negative energy. However, I'm the first to admit I do get mad sometimes. Was this a feud over something dumb or important? Did it hurt someone deeply and end a relationship? Or is it something that could have been resolved? Lots of questions from me but I'm an old lady who has experienced some real c**p in my life and it sucks.

Answer my questions and maybe we can talk this one out.
